Reception – 5 pm
Event – 6 pm
Join us on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 5 pm, when Judson School will be having our Spring Alumni Celebration for our 25th Year Anniversary. This benefit dinner will feature a delicious dinner with live music, silent auction, raffle winners announcements.
The glamorous jungle island celebration starts with red-carpet arrivals, a pre-dinner reception at 5 pm, followed by dinner and our inaugural Judson Hall of Fame Awards ceremony in beautiful Pasadena at Franson Hall, 1539 E. Howard Street.
We are not looking to enter our next 25 years alone. We are reaching out to child advocates and the corporate sector, among other audiences, to raise awareness of our mission to make private education accessible to all children. As such, we have confirmed three nominees to our Judson Hall of Fame. They include Hollywood Producer, Dave Venghaus as Man of the Year for his work with LA Children’s Hospital & The Cure JM Foundation, along with Family of the Year Randall & Marianne Hill for their work with MEND — Meet Each Need with Dignity and STEM research at USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies. This man and family best exemplifies the true meaning of faithful service to humanity as well as unparalleled achievement in their chosen endeavors. We are equally proud to honor our Alumnus of the Year, Gweneth Anne McKinley, who is currently a Ph.D. student at MIT. Also in attendance will be a few celebrity guests from Disney to make the event fun for the children. This includes Raymond Ochoa of The Good Dinosaur and Ryan Ochoa of Disney’s Pair of Kings.
At our event, guests will enjoy the celebration included and a delicious dinner, followed by a spectacular entertainment and awards program. This kickoff dinner is set to raise over $25 thousand for Judson School’s education programs, which serve more than 200 community youth, missionary families and teachers every year.
